Markia relocated from Monroeville, Alabama, to attend the Savannah College of Art & Design, where she earned her Master of Architecture with a design for sustainability minor. Markia hopes to someday help influence energy conservation and water-efficient design in the Lowcountry. She currently enjoys working as a project leader at our Savannah residential design studio in the Starland District.

Describe your process:  I am organized and aim to really listen to the clients' wants and needs to help produce enjoyable, high-quality designs. I enjoy problem-solving with my team and coordinating details with consultants for the best results.
