After two internships with Court Atkins Group, Project Leader Sara Cannon knew this was where she wanted to be after graduating from the University of Cincinnati in 2018 with her BS in architecture. Her earlier experience includes an internship with Shremshock Architects [Columbus] and a summer position with Janotta & Herner General Contractors, which was the perfect opportunity to learn the nuts and bolts of construction.
Sara now works remotely in West Palm where she enjoys catching movies at the IPIC, going on brunch dates, and exploring downtown. Living right on the ocean, she takes full advantage of beach days with friends, and game nights, especially Quiplash and Super Smash Bros., are a regular favorite. She and her friends recently bought surfboards, and Sara has been giving surfing a try.
Describe your process: Whether I’m working on building the 3D model or formatting a project for permit, I like to be in the nitty gritty with every possible detail.
