Goose Pond Residence

For the owners of this Spring Island residence, maximizing outdoor living spaces and deep-water views while ensuring ample privacy was a key priority. The resulting floor plan unfolds on the site as you experience it, with an intriguing sequence of spaces and a unique tiered terrace design. An enclosed dogtrot connects the home’s two parallel linear wings, the arrival courtyard, and the rear outdoor living space.

The eastern wing of the home is more private, while the western wing is the hub for all entertaining and combines indoor and outdoor gathering areas. Outside, the unique tiered terrace design is on full display, with each tier offering guests a different perspective.

Incorporating the homeowners existing pieces and curated art collection with new furnishings was an important focus in design development, as was the volume of vertical spaces and the open floorplan in the main living area. Printed linen fabrics, rich textured textiles, beautiful hardwood floors, luxe finishes, and natural stone create spaces throughout the home that feel refined, relaxed, and inviting.
