Jackfield House

In this Barge Landing residence, materiality, depth, and dimension set the tone at the entryway. Wood and stone meet soaring doorways and natural accents, striking that sweet spot between traditional and modern, casual and elegant—just like the surrounding riverfront community. The architectural site planning carefully placed the pool and terrace along the rear setback, maximizing outdoor living while staying true to the lot’s boundaries. To preserve unobstructed views of the marsh and river, the porch was intentionally set to the side, allowing the vistas to remain uninterrupted.
Inside, thoughtful touches reflect the clients’ lifestyle, including a special space for their beloved fur-friends. Outfitted with a Dutch door, the room allows them to retreat comfortably without ever feeling fully isolated from the flow of the home. That same sense of connection and intention carries throughout, from the tiered terrace to the screened-in porch’s vaulted ceiling, weaving a cohesive story of craftsmanship and place.
