Court Atkins Group served as the architect for New Riverside Barn and Park, a 37-acre civic destination in Bluffton designed to foster recreation, community connection, and cultural experiences.
Working collaboratively with landscape architects and civil engineers, CAG designed the park’s open-air pavilions and public restroom facilities, thoughtfully integrating these amenities into the surrounding landscape.
At the heart of the park, the transformation of the existing Riverside Barn creates a versatile Lowcountry event venue accommodating up to 170 guests. The revitalized barn features expanded gathering spaces, a covered porch, catering facilities, and thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor event areas.
Together, these elements create a welcoming community destination that celebrates Bluffton’s Lowcountry character while providing flexible spaces for recreation, gatherings, and special events.
