Sea Turtle Marketplace was a large-scale redevelopment project of the declining Pineland Station Shopping Center on Hilton Head Island. The project began with a façade renovation of the Stein Mart building, followed by the construction of 55,000 square feet of new retail anchor buildings, including West Marine and Petsmart, two outparcel buildings, and a free-standing Starbucks coffee shop. The architectural design and character of the center takes its cues from the Hilton Head Island beaches and is a blend of Lowcountry-inspired design aesthetic and retail tenant brand identity.
