A local, accomplished artist collaborated with Court Atkins Group for the design of her standalone art studio at their Palmetto Bluff property. When building in Palmetto Bluff, she initially incorporated a small second floor studio in the main house. Later outgrowing it, she commissioned the Court Atkins team to create a dedicated studio building. The design has a contemporary, industrial aesthetic that is distinct from her Lowcountry residence. The studio features concrete floors with embedded pine straw, reflecting a connection to the environment. An all-white interior showcases her vibrant artwork, specializing in Lowcountry landscapes and unique still life's. The space also houses a photography studio, a discreet kitchen and ample storage space for her canvases and supplies.
