Last year, we were selected by Forbes as one of America’s Top 200 Residential Architects for 2024.
It’s an immense honor, and we’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to belong to this prestigious group.
We’ve always believed that architecture itself is an art of belonging. We create spaces that feel comfortable, inevitable, and as easily connected to their landscape as to the people who live in them.
We strive to understand. Before the first line is ever drawn on paper, we get to know our clients, their families, their community, and the natural landscapes that shape their surrounding environment. It’s only through understanding that we can create true connections . That’s why being included in the Forbes 200 holds such meaning. In a way, it validates the philosophy that has always guided our work: that great architecture shouldn’t be imposed. It should emerge from its place, its purpose, and the people who will call it home. We are humbled that we made the cut. Over 18,000 firms were considered. The final list was determined through a rigorous evaluation, starting with a single "Exemplary House," a project standing as a masterclass in craft, context, and ingenuity. From there, firms were assessed against seven guiding principles, from site sensitivity and material selection to spatial composition and the psychology of comfort.
We’re honored to be part of this collective that sees architecture as more than a design process. It’s a conversation between land and structure, past and future, home and the people who make it so. To our clients, collaborators, and creative partners, this recognition reflects our shared vision. Thank you for trusting us to shape spaces that don’t just stand, they belong.
